Originally from the North, she moved to Essex and is that good a stylist that some clients made the trip down south just so that they could still have hair done by her! When she returned home Tyla chose Chambers because she wanted a friendly salon but one where she could be challenged - she was in demand and turned down other 'big names' in Manchester because she felt that Chambers was right for her.

One of the special things that Tyla loves is to be able to take someone who may not have much self-esteem and to improve that by making them feel good about themselves. Recently she had a client who was not exactly feeling on top of the world. After a VERY successful re-style the client left Chambers feeling pretty great. However, what put the icing on the cake for Tyla is that the next day the client called back into the salon, just to give Tyla a hug and a big thank you.
